The Quad Counties Black Hall of Fame is an initiative of The Influence Event Suite – founded by Shearon Parham – created to honor individuals whose leadership, service, and achievements have made a lasting impact across the Quad Counties and beyond. Launched with the inaugural Class of 2026, the Hall of Fame recognizes excellence, preserves community legacy, and inspires future generations through celebration, storytelling, and mentorship. Through the QC BHOF, the focus is to spotlight excellence, inspire service, and cultivate the next generation of leaders through collaborative efforts with other visionaries. The initiative will establish scholarships and programs for students, community servants, and entrepreneurs across the region – creating pathways to mentorship, education, and civic engagement.
Who We Honor: Inductees include past and present residents of the Quad Counties who are making a difference locally or who have gone on to achieve and create impact wherever they are. The Hall of Fame exists to remember and elevate those who stood out – in our area and far beyond – so their stories continue to guide and galvanize our community.

What is the Quad Counties Black Hall of Fame?
A new annual tradition honoring Black excellence across the Quad Counties, recognizing individuals whose leadership and service advance our community and their professional fields.
What happens at the inaugural ceremony?
An inspiring induction program featuring recognition of the 2026 Class, remarks, and celebration of culture, mentorship, education, entrepreneurship, and community advancement.
Selection Process
How were the inaugural inductees chosen?
A selection committee identified individuals deserving of recognition using a founder-led rubric that evaluated community impact, leadership, and contributions in their fields.
How will future inductees be selected?
Beginning next year, public nominations can be submitted online. A selection committee will review all eligible nominations and choose the final 8 inductees from the Quad Counties.
